EDWARDS SIGA-MCT2 Dual 

The Edwards SIGA-MCT2 is a smart, addressable dual input plug-in module designed to connect two Class B, normally open dry contact circuits to the fire alarm control panel. Functionally identical to the SIGA-CT2, the MCT2 is part of the UIO (Universal Input/Output) family, making installation faster and cleaner by plugging directly into a UIO motherboard. This modular design reduces wiring complexity and saves installation time, while ensuring reliable signal transmission for alarms, supervisory devices, and monitoring circuits.

Edwards SIGA-MCT2 Dual Input Plug-In Module

The SIGA-MCT2 plugs directly into a two-position or six-position UIO motherboard inside an Edwards enclosure. All wiring connections are made to the motherboard, not the module itself, simplifying installation and reducing wiring errors.

Like the CT2, it supports two independent personality codes, meaning each circuit (A and B) can be assigned a different function—such as alarm initiation on one input and supervisory monitoring on the other. With automatic device mapping, electronic addressing, and microprocessor intelligence, the MCT2 delivers fast and accurate communication with the fire alarm control panel.
