Farenhyt IDP-ZONE-6

The Farenhyt IDP-ZONE-6 Six Zone Interface Module enables seamless integration between conventional two-wire smoke detector zones and advanced Farenhyt addressable fire alarm control panels (FACPs). It converts traditional detection loops into SLC loops, allowing existing devices to communicate intelligently with the system. This makes it the perfect solution for retrofitting or upgrading older fire alarm systems while retaining existing field wiring and devices.

The Farenhyt IDP-ZONE-6 is an intelligent, addressable interface module designed for use with Farenhyt Series fire alarm control panels. It provides six supervised zone inputs, each capable of monitoring two-wire conventional smoke detectors. The module reports each zone’s status—normal, open, or alarm—directly to the control panel.

Each input operates independently and communicates over a shared SLC loop. Up to two unused zones can be disabled if not required. LEDs for each zone provide local status indication, and removable plug-in terminal blocks simplify wiring. Designed to mount easily inside the IDP-ACB cabinet, this compact module ensures fast installation, easy maintenance, and reliable operation.
