The VESDA Sensepoint XCL is an advanced aspirated smoke detector designed to work seamlessly with the VESDA-E VEA micro-bore aspirating smoke detection system. Its purpose is to provide early warning smoke and environmental monitoring—supporting CO, CH4, H₂, and CO₂ sensing—while strengthening overall fire safety performance within the same network.

By combining Xtralis’ VESDA ASD technology with advanced sensing capabilities, this device delivers high-accuracy monitoring, intelligent alarm reporting, and easy field servicing, all through a compact in-line microbore design.

VESDA Sensepoint XCL – Micro Bore Aspirated Smoke Detector System

The VESDA Sensepoint XCL is an addressable aspirated smoke detector engineered for the VESDA-E VEA micro-bore system. Installed directly in-line with VEA sampling tubes using supplied flexible tubing, it provides remote smoke and environmental monitoring up to 100 meters from the detector point.

Its Bluetooth-enabled design allows technicians to configure, commission, and maintain the device using a mobile app—making installation and servicing faster and more intuitive.

The detector is available in 4–20 mA analog and Modbus RTU variants and includes two programmable relays. Sensors are factory-calibrated and easily replaceable, reducing maintenance cost and downtime.
With compatibility across fire alarm panels, PLCs, HVAC, and building management systems, the XCL ensures real-time situational awareness and intelligent emergency response.
